Bijilo Forest Park, or Monkey Park as it's commonly called, is well known to visitors to The Gambia. As the name Monkey Park suggests, there are two species of monkeys who live there, the ever curious and friendly Green Vervet Monkeys, and the shyer Western Red Colobus Monkey, an endangered species. You will have a lifetime opportunity not only to see them but also feed the monkeys and make a photo with them. Don't worry, they may be curious sometime but very friendly and used to visitors.
Tour duration: 2 hours
