Fathala Wildlife Reserve: Safari in Senegal
Join me for a trip through Fathala Wildlife Reserve in Senegal. Spot wild animals at their home up close. You can also take lifetime experience of walking with lions.
Tour duration: full day
The game reserve spans 2,000 hectares of protected natural forest, located in the north of Senegal near the Gambia border. If you're drawn to pristine African wilderness and are interested in observing wild animals in their natural habitats, come journey among herds of antelopes, including the rare Giant Eland and Ellan antelopes, water hogs, zebras, and get close to giraffes, rhinos, and buffaloes.
This is cross country tour. First we will travel by ferry to Barra and then we will cross borders to Senegal.
Itinerary
- I'll pick you up at your accommodation
- We will go to Banjul where we will take ferry to Barra
- Then we will continue to Amdallai where we will cross borders to Senegal
- We will spend time in Fathala Wildlife Reserve
- If you want, you can take walk with lions (the walk with lions is paid separately)
- We will have proper lunch at the reserve
- Once you'll enjoy the animals, we will go back to your accommodation
